LNDNGS release their debut single ‘Mossy Falls’ available October 2 on Digital Formats via Trailing Twelve Records.

Travel to a rural town in New Hampshire nestled at the foothills of Mount Monadnock and you’ll find winding rivers, vibrant wildlife, and lush pastures. For a musician living among such scene glimpses, it would only be natural to draw upon them for inspiration. Comprised of members of psychedelic folk-rockers Party of the Sun and session guitar veteran Charlie Chronopoulos, LNDNGS (land-ings) creates exploratory soundscapes that harness deep and powerful energies.

Today we are presented with their debut composition, “Mossy Falls,” a serene meditation that travels through feelings of ease, nostalgia, and tension like thoughts passing through the mind. Falling in line with ambient artists Brian Eno and Tim Hecker, LNDNGS manages to create a sense of relaxation and peacefulness without relying on clichéd and overly hopeful progressions.

The composition is a snapshot taken from hours of open tracking where members Ethan McBrien, Rory Hurley, and Charlie Chronopoulos weave in and out of harmony with each other, oftentimes changing their instruments and orientations mid-performance.

“Mossy Falls” is out October 2, 2020 on Trailing Twelve.
